Over the years we have had some outstanding results from our days in the show ring.

Below are some of our highlights that we are particularly proud of.

‘ANGEL’ WINS THE IRISH PUP OF THE YEAR 2007 FINAL !!

Wow!! It’s another huge result for Team Ashmair when our Dual Pup of the Year Qualifier Warmingham Angel at My Side takes the title of Irish Pup of the Year for 2007 at the Moran’s Red Cow Hotel on Dublin’s southside.

In a rollercoaster night when we were nearly eliminated in error by the scrutineers at an early stage of the competition, ‘Angel’ proved her credentials to be in the last 8 byright when she was chosen by Miroslav Zidar from Slovenia as the Top Puppy in Ireland for 2007.

We had great support in the audience and at the ringside which went wild when we were chosen as the winners. This was one of those exceptional nights which happen to few exhibitors and it was a repeat performance for the team who had won the Irish Show Dog Awards Final at the same venue last year.

Our thanks to the original judges who sent ‘Angel’ through to the Final when they judged in 2007, namely Kay Creamer from Ireland and Frank Kane from the UK. A weekend that will remain special to us and a magnificent highlight to recall for all connected with Ashmair.

‘MIKEY’ HITS THE TOP AT COMBINED CANINE INTERNATIONAL!

‘Mikey’, CH Ashmair The Butler Did It, became our fifth All Breed Championship Show Winner when he topped the huge entry at the Combined Canine Club International show at Easter of 2008 under the well known Irish All Rounder judge Seamus Oates. He was sent through from the FCI Group 9 by Australia’s Joanne Sewell on a memorable day.

It was a fantastic day for us and it was the beginning of an amazing weekend for the Ashmair Team with ‘Angel’ completing an Easter double act.

‘ANGEL’ IS A DOUBLE QUALIFIER FOR THE PUP OF THE YEAR

Mrs Kay Creamer of the Cretoka Kennnels judged the Puppy Stakes at Hibernian Champioship and chose our latest arrival ‘Angel’, Warmingham Angel At My Side to top the class and give us our qualifier to the Pup of the Year Final to be held next March in Dublin.

As if that was not good enough ‘Angel’ did it again. At Swords Internatioanl show she took Best Puppy in Breed and then handled by Marie won the Puppy Group 9 under the famous All Rounder from the UK Marion Spavin of the Diallyne Beagles the confirmed her her Pup of the Year spot by taking Best Puppy in Show from the ten Puppy Group winners under another of the UK’s Top Judges, Frank Kane.

‘BUDDY’ TAKES THE CC AT CRUFTS AND ‘MIKEY’ TAKES BEST PUPPY

Crufts 2007 was a spectacular show for us.

To travel to the UK from Ireland and compete with the best Bichon Frise from across the water at the most prestigious show in the world is exciting in itself but to have a fantastic day taking the Dog Challenge Certificate and also Best Puppy in Breed has got to be a highlight for any one in the dog show scene who has a success such as this.

CH/GB CH Warmingham Ret Butler was judge Sue Dunger’s choice for the Best Dog and his son Ashmair The Butler Did It was Best Puppy in Breed.

An unforgettable day for Team Ashmair.

IT’S ASHMAIR INTERNATIONAL AS ‘POPPIE’ IS BEST AT CLONMEL 2006

The start of the Munster Circuit 2006 brought us another exciting day in what was a superb year for us. Clonmel International Show took place at the beginning of the week and what a way to get the ball rolling.

‘Poppie’, CH Ashmair Secret Wish won her way through to the Best in Show Challenge and was then the choice of Best in Show judge Ger Cox of the Coxgal Terriers.

‘BUDDY’ CONTINUES OUR GREAT RECORD AT SWORDS BY TAKING BEST IN SHOW 2006.

Some shows can be good for you each year and without doubt Swords Championship show is quickly becoming our favourite. After ‘Secret’s group wins and Best and Reserve Best in Show wins in 2004 and 2005 little did we think our special run at Swords could continue but continue it did as ‘Buddy’, CH/GB CH Warmingham Ret Butler took Best in Show under Maynard Collins on another brilliant sunny day at Cloghran.

He earlier won the Toy Group courtesy of Norman Huidobro Corbett from Spain.

This was the Ashmair Team’s second All Breed Championship Show Best in Show win in 2006.

‘NORA’ TOPS THE LOT DOWN SOUTH AT CORK 2006

CH Warmingham Return To Sender gave us our first Best in Show win at an All Breed Championship Show of 2006 when Josie Foley of the Leorient Shih Tzu and Siberian Husky Kennel chose ‘Nora’ as her winner.

It would be the first of three such wins during the campaign in 2006.

‘SECRET’ IS BEST OF BREED AT CRUFTS 2005

Crufts 2005 was a day we’ll never forget as CH/GB CH Warmingham Secret Love took Best of Breed at the biggest show in the world.

It’s the show that everyone wants to win at and we were thrilled with this fantastic result as Ashling handled ‘Secret’ to the biggest win of his career.

‘SECRET’ IS BEST IN SHOW AT SWORDS CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW IN DUBLIN 2004

Swords 2004 was one of a number of great days which we have enjoyed at this annual event held in June at the National Show Centre in Dublin.

CH/GB CH Warmingham Secret Love was Marie Thorpe’s Best in Show winner on a beautiful summer’s day.

He would return in 2005 to take the Reserve Best in Show award from Sean Carroll having won the group under the famous all rounder from Sweden, Dan Ericcson of the Raglan Scottish Terriers.
