Ashmair is a small family run kennel specialising in the exhibition and breeding of top quality Bichon Frise.
We are currently Ireland’s top winning kennel in the breed and have worked hard to be in that position over the last number of years. Our Bichon Frises have had spectacular successes during the last seven years and are consistent winners in breed and group competition in Ireland and we have had significant successes when exhibiting in the UK also.
Numbered among our memorable days with our Bichons are Crufts Best of Breed and CC wins, Club Specialty Best in Show wins, International and National Championship Show Best in Shows.
We welcome Exhibitors, Breeders, Owners and Friends from all over the World to visit our website and we hope that you enjoy checking out the World of Ashmair Bichon Frise.

ANOTHER TOY SPECIALTY GROUP PLACING FOR MIKEY AND A DOUBLE IN THE BREED!!
We made the trip to Clonmel in County Tipperary yet again for the All Ireland Toy Dog Club Group Championship Show where Cathy Delmar of the Shillelagh Show Kennels was judging the breed and she found no one to lower the colours of he main man and it was Mikey, CH/INT CH Ashmair The Butler Did It who went forward to the Best in Show Challenge. With just two of our Fluffs on show today Cathy chose Mikey for her Green Star male and Best of Breed while it was another win in the females for Angel, the newly crowned CH Warmingham Angel at My Side.
The Deise Championship Show was held at the Tramore Racecourse and although we were a little bit tired after the overnight ferry crossing we were soon back to normal and ready for the next challenge where Irish Kennel Club President Sean Delmar was centre ring to make the decisions in the breed.
Just three of the Fluffs with us today and it was another Champion Class, Green Star and Best of Breed for our big star of the moment Mikey, CH/INT CH Ashmair The Butler Did It who is giving us such a fantastic year in the breed and group ring.
The start of a very busy weekend saw part of the team travel to the Windsor Championship Show in England held in Home Park in the beautiful town of Windsor and overlooked by the castle while the other half of our team traveled to Kilkenny Championship Show in Ireland. At Windsor we had traveled to exhibit under Frank Kane where he selected Mikey, CH/INT CH Ashmair The Butler Did It as his second in Open Dog and also as his Reserve CC winner in a large entry. This was Mikey’s third Reserve CC this year alone. Angel, Warmingham Angel at My Side was in a large Limit Bitch class with an entry of 15 and took a creditable second in very good company while Jessie, CH Ashmair Shes Got The Look took first in the Open Bitch class.
